Quality Analyst & Senior Quality Analyst who is having experience in publishing industry. Should be able to work in dynamic team. The candidate having below skillset would be a good fit for the current openings.

Key Responsibilities

Should meet daily audit targets
Share audit feedback & preventive measures to avoid errors
Maintain daily production tracker and share with the management on daily basis
Will be responsible to improve the assigned journal quality
The candidate needs to share inside out performance of the journal. What is going well and what is not going well
Should be able to provide improvement areas and plans if possible, to the management
Should be ready to relocate and work from office
Innovative thinker and a good team player

Required Skills and Qualifications

Should be a graduate from any stream
Experience required – More than 10 years
Should have good verbal & written communication
The typeset output is in line with the Journal production information supplied customer, including special instructions for the Journal.
Electronically compare with original document/manuscript with the typeset file to identify and mark-up missing or change content.
Proofread and mark corrections in zero error zone items like front matter of journals.
Read and understand style and specification document and ensure that the final product adheres to the requirement. Identify and mark-up style and specification inconsistencies.
Equation: Check the equation within in line text for base alignment/clashing at ascender/descender. Display equation font size and placement style.
Cross check author marked up documents against typeset files to ensure corrections are carried out and consistency has been maintained.
Queries raised to author are valid and up to date.
