Test Lead

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with 5-8 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on experience in automation testing and manual testing.. The Senior Test Engineer will play a key role in leading testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability

Of our software products through effective test planning, execution, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies that encompass both manual and automated testing approaches. Define test objectives, scope, and priorities based on project requirements.
Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise in both manual and automation testing. Coordinate resources and tasks to ensure efficient and effective testing.
Manual Testing: Oversee the execution of manual test cases and scenarios, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements. Review test cases created by the team and provide feedback as necessary.
Automation Testing: Drive the implementation of test automation initiatives, leveraging automation tools and frameworks to increase testing efficiency and coverage. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and suites.
Test Framework Development: Design and develop test automation frameworks tailored to project requirements, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reusability of automated tests.
Defect Management: Manage the identification, reporting, and resolution of defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes. Implement strategies to minimize defect leakage and improve overall product quality.
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement: Ensure that testing activities adhere to quality standards, best practices, and industry regulations. Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and business analysts. Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks.
Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, automation scripts, and framework documentation. Ensure that all testing activities are well-documented and traceable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or Equivalent Qualifications.
5-8 years of experience in software testing, with hands-on automation testing and proficiency in manual testing.
Should have experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Java with Selenium (Eclipse IDE).
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Familiarity with agile and/or DevOps principles and practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
